At Lawrence J. Praeger PC, we represent clients in all family law and related matters, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, property division, modification and enforcement of orders. We also represent Mental Health Professionals in licensing matters,  dealing with the litigation process, HIPAA complaints, and responding to subpoenas for records and testimony.

Attorney / Litigator

Our attorneys are experienced in all areas of family law and related litigation.  We have significant courtroom experience. We do not hesitate to litigate if proceeding to trial is necessary to better serve our clients needs. However, we encourage mediation and collaborative law as tools for dispute resolution.

Expert Witness

We consult and act as an expert witness on the issue of attorney’s fees and expenses. For a set fee, we evaluate attorney’s fees and expenses for our client and the opposing party. If our report is satisfactory, we can then be designated as a testifying witness on your behalf. We are willing to travel statewide.

Board Certification in Family Law

From our offices in the historic State-Thomas District of Dallas, our lawyers help individuals handle issues of divorce, child custody, abuse and neglect, modification and enforcement of existing orders. Lawrence “Larry” J. Praeger is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is AV-rated under Martindale Hubbell’s Peer Review Rating™ process*.

Fees

We perform a cost benefit analysis to evaluate the cost of a legal action in relation to the possible benefit achieved. We are conservative in our billing practices, and encourage our clients to freely discuss all fees and expenses.

Professional

Lawrence Praeger has been admitted to practice before Texas state and Federal courts. He is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
